Dead Move

Part III. What We Know For Sure
4.
We will begin by recounting all that we know. We'll go day by day along a 'Lottie A. Bernard Timeline.' It is surprising how much we do know, from various sources at the time, and yet it is also disappointing how much we do not know for sure. Part III contains information gleaned from the Hotel del Coronado Heritage Department's official book, plus a number of outside resources like the San Diego Historical Society, the Coronado History Association, the San Diego Public Library, the San Diego State University Library, and more. In Part IV I will tie everything together and offer my comprehensive theory, which offers compelling solutions to each baffling clue and every puzzling dead end.
