Over A Million Words Free. At Galley City (another site in my webplex), you can read for free half of each of my books (more than 40: fiction, nonfiction, poetry). That's well over a million words…and some short stories are free. If you like a novel, buy the whole for the price of a cup of coffee. I call it Read-a-Latte. The coffee is gone in minutes, but the book is yours forever. As you read free at Galley City (no obligation, no tracking, no cookies, not even a breath mint), you'll find optional buy links on each page (Kindle e-book and Print editions). Publisher: Clocktower Books, San Diego small press imprint.

On Saint Ronan Street (1976)

This is the novel I wrote during lonely evenings as a young soldier (27) stationed at Panzerkaserne ('Tank Barracks')a former World War Two German army barracks in FRG.

Poetry (Twenty+ Years)

I don't have a specific reading list for Cymbalist Poems at Galley City, but many of the poems in this collection (October Leaf) are the same as in Cymbalist Poems.

Two In One

Here's the Duet I published in 2016, when I first thought of publishing the poetry of the novel's hero, a fictional poet (aged early 20s) in an intoxicating love affair with a beautiful faculty wife. Free read is On Saint Ronan Street; see October Leaf to read poems free.

Brainstorm: A Cloned Novel (2017)

Forty years after, I had this wild idea. Since On Saint Ronan Street had such a Gallic or French atmosphere, like the classic French movie The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, why not clone OSRS and create an entirely new Paris novel?
