Welcome: In my 25+ years online, I have built a lot of websites and published much of my poetry, fiction, and nonfiction as a professional author, editor, journalist, and researcher, spanning more decades than I care to think about. Happy Ever After (HEA). Every one of my 40+ novels written over more than half a century now has a strong central love story and ends in HEA.
The first exception is my first full novel, completed at age 19 while a sophomore English major at the University of Connecticut, a science fiction novel now titled *Summer Planets* which has a melancholy strain throughout; consider that it is the foundation stone of my Empire of Time SF Series, and deals with the collapse of the great human (that's us) empire of the galaxy, centered at Mercury Free Port City. I have added half a dozen further novels plus short stories, and the series (future history) remains in work.
The only other exception is my 2009 novel *Lethal Journey* about the tragic death (sudden, mysterious, violent) of the 'Beautiful Stranger' at the Hotel Del Coronado near San Diego. I could not fudge with the true history on that one, as investigated by me while I had the privilege of working as a shuttle driver at the great hotel; i based the primary sources of my research on the hotel's official Heritage Department history book (*Beautiful Stranger: The Ghost of Kate Morgan and the Hotel Del Coronado*).

*SUBPLEX: Explanation: since I have spent decades developing, undoing, and redoing thematically linked websites, I have appropriated the term *webplex* to describe the whole network of my sites. In some instances, there may be sublinkages. For example, the websites *Dead Move* and *Lethal Journey* and *Coronado Mystery* form a subplex of three sites, each centered on one of my books about the sensational 1892 true crime and resulting ghost legend surrounding the mysterious, violent death of 'The Beautiful Stranger' at the fmous hotel/resort. Likewise, The Reading Room may be considered a subplex within my webplex, since at present several independent websites of mine are linked together within a thematic unity.
